From Data Governance to Building a Data-Driven Culture in Organizations
Implementing Data Governance based on the DAMA-DMBOK (Data Management Body of Knowledge) framework is more than just managing data—it’s about creating a culture where data is managed with quality, transparency, integrity, and security.
Khun Sutthipong Kuruhongsa, Founder and Group CEO of Digital Dialogue, was invited as a guest lecturer for the course INT603: Standards, Law, and Compliance for IT Professionals at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
During the session, we discussed: The structure and principles of a Data Governance Framework Exciting career paths in Data Management, Data Quality, and Data Governance Essential skills and career opportunities in the data management field How AI may not only “disrupt” but also “empower” data professionals in the years to come
We also showcased practical tools and software for Data Governance to help students understand how these concepts are applied in real-world organizations.
